This historic building was substantially damaged during the 1990 coup and was restored to its pristine condition. In addition to the restoration works, ultra-modern amenities of Air-Conditioning, Communication and Security Systems were installed as part of a present day Police Headquarters. The finishes involved the use of Lime Render as opposed to plastering on the external facade . The building was re-roofed using Welsh slate.
